In the novelization of ROTS, whe Obi Wan is worried about Anakin he thinks to himself that he thinks he knows why Anakin is so troubled. That begs the question, at the end of the book does Obi Wan know the details of why Anakin turned?

It seems to me that only Anakin (and Palpy of course) know the whole story. Padme knows about the dreams, and their political split, but she doesn't know about him being asked to spy on Palapatine or even that it was Emperor Palpatine who promised to teach Anakin his "new power."

Yoda might understand because he knows about Anakin's dream, and obviously by the end he has sorted out that the person Anakin was dreaming about was Padme. Yoda knew about Anakin being asked to spy on Palpatine, but he probably didn't know that Anakin and Padme were on opposite sides of a political debate and that Anakin blamed Obi Wan for putting her on the opposite side.

It seems that Obi Wan is actually fairly clueless. He knows that Anakin and Padme have a relationship, but he doesn't appear to know she's pregnant until after Anakin has turned. He goes to Padme to ask her to prevent Anakin from leaving the order, and in so many words, I think he's hoping she'll give him up. I think he blames the spying on Palpatine thing for Anakin's fall, but that he doesn't have a clue about his nightmares. I wonder if he and Yoda talked about it after the fact, maybe on Bail's ship.
