I have it. It is one of the few "junior" books I've read since the Young Jedi Knights series. I think the other books I mentioned to a much better job of describing Dooku as a person, but Legacy does hold one essential clue, and that is when the fourteen year old Dooku gets his hands on a Sith Holocron that was in the temple.

I'm thinking that his aristocratic upbringing, dissappointment with the Jedi order, and lust for control helped finish the job, but that early brush with the Sith teachings is maybe what started him down that path and line of thinking to begin with.

i was thinking about this when i was trying to come up with
some sort of jedi prage campain for a star wars rpg game
my idea was what if a squad of clone commanndos go's a wall
and help the jedi that made out of the tempal flee
what do you guys think

Are you asking if we think it's philosophically possible that an event like what you're describing might have occurred? If so, I think waiting until the movie is out might be the best way to go--we can't really be sure of any philosophical possibilities until we know what happens canonically.

i think that a clone could well disobey an order but that it is so wired into them that they just have something saying "no i cant do this" it is like saying do i really want to knock this guy on the street that i dont know, to the ground? it isnt really like something you do. also with nate in the books, he quite obviously was his own person but still had a code of ethics that were tied deeply to the clone laws. just my 0.02

This just kinda struck me as funny. With Leia's ANH hairdo, the headpieces all of the Twi'lek women wear, and most of Amidalla's costumes, you never see a certain feature. It got me wondering, do you think GL has something against female ears? Things that make you go hmmmm...

after ep2 i started to gess that the timeline gap between eps1,2,3 & 4,5,6 are not that long so my thought is that maybe more jedi masters got out of sloter then obi and yoda

Well there are a handful that did escape the purge according to the EU books.

Also Obiwan says in both the radio drama version and the ANH Novel that there are other Jedi out there. It's just they all put their sabers down and went into hiding and wouldn't help.

Is Palpatine able to go back and forth between ugly yellow eyed Sith and noble old man, or once he changes to wrinkleface, is he there for good.

The EU has mentioned that he was able to effect how other percieved him. In other words, during his reign as Emperor, his subjects did not see him as hideous Sideous.

What I wonder is if he is using mind tricks or if the Dark Side can actually transform his appearance.

So, based on the newest installment, I have these questions.

1. Does Anakin/Vader know that he has children out there? It has been speculated that he knew one was out there, but the way Sideous told him Padme had died, Vader was led to beleive that it was before the child/children were born.

2. We see the beginning stages of the Death Star construction. Why does it take them 18 years (the time between ROTS and ANH) to build the first one and 3-4 years (time between ANH and ROTJ) to build the second one? My theory is that one one we see under construction is one of the prototypes at the Maw Installation, rather than the DS1 that was built at Despayre.

I have a thought on number 2 there.

It could be the maw prototype or it could be just a matter of how finished they called finished.

We never really saw much of the inside of the Deathstar 2. For all we know it was very unfinished outside of the throne room and the docking bays. Where Deathstar one we saw a lot of it and it looked 100% compleate.

Perhaps building the structure and super lazer is something that can be done in a few years time but when you go and finsh all the hallways, jail cells, troop quarters, figher bays, defense systems, etc it takes much longer.

Deathstar 2 was just a super lazer with a shell. really not much more than the Maw prototype. It needed the Fleet and the endor base to protect it. Death star 1 was compleatly finished and ready to house the entire imperial army I'd bet. thus it took much longer.

Ok... I think this is more than a plothole, but according to the EU, Anakin has been gone for over a year. This is certainly implied in the movie. Padme is now pregnant, and not very pregnant. ??

Do Fetuses (Feti??) just take 15 months to grow in the star wars world?

Maybe a standard year in the GFFA is not 365, 24 hour days.

???

Or, eek! maybe the kids are Focre spawn like Annie was supposed to be. (I don't buy that though)
