Or did Lucas just say "Hey, I know what would look cool!" and disregard canon? Yeah, that's it.

I don't think it was necassarily "Hey, I know what would look cool" but more, "Hey, I know what could sell some more toys, t-shirts,
etc".
I always thought it was funny that the Aurbesh on the green Twilek nose art reads "Spaceward Ho!" I wonder if someone snuck that in.

Maybe it's someone who's bitter because Hasbro will never make Tonnika Sisters action figures. What kind of actions would they have?

Actually, the nose art started with the first clone wars cartoon, with the grinning gunship. Last year had a few gunships with nose art on them, but it has
really expanded this year.
Overall, I enjoyed the last episode and this season. |

I think the art on the gunships does represent nicely the ways in which the clones begin to distinguish themselves from each other, and it's a fun chance
for the ubergeeks to decipher the lettering.

I finally watched the Weapon Factory episode, I have to say I liked it a lot more than the previous one. That one was too war like for my tastes. Don't get
me wrong, I like a good war movie, but to me Star Wars was always different.
Anyway, I had chills when Ulimari (sp?) said, "...But unlike you, Skywalker, when the time comes I am prepaired to let my padawan go. Can you say the same?" He just grimiced and moved on, I like that cause you know he's not and you know he's not going to learn the lesson Yoda wants him to. |

That seems to be the theme for this year's stories. Can Anakin let go of his Padawan. It was set-up in the movie and not touched on during the first
season, but now it's been prominent in a number of episodes -- Bane's capture and this one.

I'm a few episodes behind. Haven't had much TV time the past few weeks. I've got like 5 episodes of Heroes sitting there for me. A few spectacular
Spiderman's and a few Clone wars.
I gotta catch up before Chuck starts up next month.
