NEWS. FLASH I got a call tonight from the Anoka parade staff. WE ARE IN BOTH. WE ARE AT THE FRONT OF THE NIGHT PARADE _ ONLY 4 BLOCKS LONG!!!And the night parade is just 50 spots. One hour max. So light up those sabres vwe are a go the grand day parade is on Saturday - on HALLOWEEN acutuary prime, eleven thirty line up and one o clock start time. As I prepare to sign the paperwork for the day parade, is there any interst in a lightsaber brigade for the evening parade?
UPDATE: I HAVE SUBMITTED THE $ FOR EACH PARADE!

Everything published last year indicated that this year's would be on the 24th. Are you sure it's the 31st?

They must have had preliminary dates early on then. Well, good news and bad news. We're back from Florida by the 31st, but I am organizing the fall cleanup at church, scheduled for the 31st. I'll see if I can get someone to be the on-sit lead for that.

Overall - it's still too early to plan on having the float, unless someone else wants to pull it.

Reb, if you are in contact with someone in charge of the parade, they told me last year, they might put a mashal with our unit, to help keep the pace. That, and having the float behind the group like we did at Roseville and SLP helped alot. Can you check on it?

I can do that, I was just wondering if I should register for The Grande Day parade, or try the torchlight or see if there are a few lightsabre swingers who are up for the night march. I would like it posted on the 501st and RL boards too. Should I do that ? Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's been posted as two seperate events on the 501st, I don't believe anything on the RL has been done.

Yeah, I went ahead and made two posts, since they really are separate events. That way we can get a good idea of who is available for each one.
