Any ideas on what time we should meet to bowl?

well...even though the game is against Detroit that day...I'd still prefer it to be after 3pm, like around 4pm would work for me. However, since it is the
Lions if we decide to meet while the game is on, I'd still show.
 I'm feeling squirrley!!

Last year I think the bowlers met at 4:00 PM. I think we also set a start time of the meeting at 6:00 PM so people that didn't want to bowl could still
know when to show for the planning meeting.
Bowling works for me, Southtown Lanes was pretty empty so we didn't have any issue pulling together enough tables for a meeting.

It sounds like 4:00 works for those who want to bowl. We will begin the business meeting around 6:00. Last year we followed it with dinner over at Applebees
for those interested.
Yes, I think Southtown lanes has been a good location. Not too busy, and fairly central.

well...looks like I'm going to end up missing the game anyway cause it will most likely be too wet yet on Saturday to finish up my leaves so they'll
have to wait until Sunday morning/afternoon
I should still be here though, perhaps not at bowling but we'll see I'm feeling squirrley!!

Some agenda items I would like to cover tomorrow are the following:
1. Tentative calendar with meeting dates for monthly events, parades, ZooBoo, etc. - Annual meetings? - 1/1 Holiday party, Snowtubing, Lightsaber meeting, etc. 2. Upcoming events: Bell ringing, Toys for Tots?? , etc. 3. CONvergence 4. Reports from the special interest clubs (book club, RPG group, craft night, etc.) 5. Any updates from our fellow SW groups (501st, RL, JA, etc.) 6. Budget Report 7. Technology Report (website, message boards, etc.) If there is anything else anyone would like to add or discuss specifically, please let me know. I will finish up the final draft by about 2:00pm tomorrow.

Sorry I missed it. The Christmas lights were cursed this year. One string at the TOP of a 20' tree decided to fail after the tree was done, and then one
string of icicle lights crapped out. A run to the store for another one, tested it (worked fine), got back out on the ladder, put it up, and then it decided
to stop working on half the string. Back to the store for a replacement string, and back up the ladder for a third time.
Oh wait, this isn't the rant thread...

Sounds like the lights I always put up. I considering LED this year, but at 3X to 5X the cost, I'm trying to figure out if it's worth making the leap.
They are supposed to last 5X longer or more, but I've only seen them used for two years, so it's kinda hard to prove the extra life yet.
It was a fun bowling outing and a good business meeting. We discussed the calendar for the next year, heard from all of the clubs, and made some plans regarding CONvergence, finances, charity work and the web site. Thanks everyone who could make it. Your input is important and appreciated!
