I suppose before we get carried away, we should find out if we are even allowed to pass anything out at this parade.

I've got a bunch of the Zoo Boo things, too. Don't know if I'll make craft night, so I might just tape them on my own time. Let me know for sure if
it's OK to hand out candy.

Rosefest has always had candy, so I don't know why they wouldn't this year. I don't know about St. Louis Park.

we talked about it at the picnic and even though we doubt they would have anything against it, a number of us felt it would be too early to hand out stuff
about Zooboo and so we should keep the flyers for events later in the year, closer to October.
I may go pick up a bag of two of candy though, so we do have something to hand out. I'm still on the fence about it though. |

Don't forget that if we hand out candy, that might draw attention away from our group and amazing costumes. Everybody will be totally focused on getting
the free stuff.

I didn't do the St. Louis Park parade last year, so I have a few questions about where lineup is happening and where the best place to park/change is.
Any suggestions?

I can't remember what street the line-up was on last year. I looked at last year's thread but it didn't say. As for parking, we parked in the
street, changed in our car and walked. There's lots of parking around.

if only Ed made his attachable changing curtain for the back of his SUV...
while we're wondering where line-ups are and where we should park, how about for Rosefest too...I know Reb put our position #'s down, but that really means nothing to me: Parktacular is 56 Rosefest is 41 |

Rosefest it's best to get there early and then park in the church lot next to the school. We lineup in the school parking lot and start from there. Then
we all hop on the float and return to this lot when it's done.

Here is the map for St. Louis Park:
Now as I look at the map, I believe the line-up ran north on Joppa and curled to the left and then back down towards 40th. There were lots of parade officials around to tell us where to go. ![]()

The street to the west of Joppa is Kipling. The next street to the west is Lynn. I think the line up went up Joppa, across 38th and then down Lynn, or possibly
Kipling.
Reb - do you have any info on this from the parade organizers? ![]()

Crocoboxer wrote: Sorry - I can't see the map you posted from my work computer. Last years lineup was east of 100 and south of Excelsior. We wound around through some neighborhoods and ended at the park and community center that is about two blocks east of the Target on the north side of the 100 & Excelsior intersection. The parade rout meanders, so the walk back shouldn't be as long as the rout, if you park near the line-up.

It looks very comfortable. Can I get the pattern for it?

I will try to have it cut out for you by Parktacular and if I fail, I will for sure have it at Rosefest.
