Thanks for everyone that came out, I had a great time and had I known what I was doing I would have ended the night with a brand spanking new under tunic. Oh well, that's what happens when you wing it and have no clue what you're doing, next time...

Speaking of which, there was talk about doing this again next Wednesday night: 1/28/09

I'm willing to host it again, but I'm going to have to say ahead of time that things need to stop at 10:30pm to let the packing and shuffeling off begin...let's just say my roomy isn't happy with me.
But if others are also willing to put up their place for this post it up!

I'm feeling squirrley!!

Sorry I missed it. I'll be out of town for the next one as well, but will make it eventually.

I'd be willing to offer up my place for future events as well. The basement is good for crafty type things, and once it warms up the garage would be good for sanding/painting/finishing type work. I got a long road ahead of me to finish that Clone armor by Free Comic Book Day.

the epic night is approaching, roomy is fine but I am sticking to my statement about if my place is used we need to start packing everything away at 10:30pm.
So...if leiasolosinger hasn't decided on whether or not to open her doors to us, we can use my place again.

Had a great night last night! It's good that we've got some momentum going with this weekly gathering. Though, I suppose Mary could still use a little motivational shove every now and again. I'm still not sure if organizing your computer counts as costume progress.

Lindsey, do you have any spaces for taking costume pictures to submit to the Rebel Legion? Like a bare wall with sufficient lighting in the room? If not, that's okay, but if you do I'll make sure to bring my camera so we can get Village Leia SUBMITTED!

Yea, we can just move the table and there is a blank wall. as for lighting we can rig something up. we have plenty of lights we just need to be creative. If you want, and get off work early enough I can check out the scoop at school and we can make the pictures look real professional.
