Well, I got my clearance Wal-Mart saber yesterday and I was wrong. They weren't clearing out old Master Replica stock, they were clearing out new Hasbro
stock. Although the saber and packaging are 99% the same as the MR, they only difference being the Hasbro logo and the umpteen extra warning stickers they
added to the saber itself (don't worry they come off really easily).
Altough, this is my first 3 AAA saber, did you always need a screwdriver to change the batteries on the other 3AAA models?

I also thought it was odd that Hasbro's license date for these is 2007...My on/off sticker I think was put on with super glue, the rest of them came off pretty easy and I used Goo Gone to clear off the residue, but man that on/off sticker was a pain. I prevailed though, I'll have it with me tonight at bell ringing. |

Maul's doesn't need a screwdriver.

What's really odd is that the pommel still unscrews like my older ones, but the screw holds on a sleeve that slides around the battery carriage and appears
to serve the sole purpose of holding the batteries in, while the carriage is out of the saber. Seems entirely superfluous to me, I'll have to see if it
works without it.

maybe, perhaps, the batteries need to just be held.

Cool! I found a Cade Skywalker and a Darth Talon at Target when I was out Christmas shopping the other day. Somehow they ended up under the tree with my name
on them.

I found GI Joe Mighty Mugs at Target today. I Picked up a Snake Eyes. Last week I found a Darth Revan at Wal-Mart. Those guys are cute. I now have Spider-Man,
Hulk, Thing, Darth Revan, and Snake Eyes. I want to get the Mace Windu and Han Solo ones... Last time I saw those I Wasn't allowed any self purchases.
Does anyone know any stores that are carrying those older ones? I've only seen the Hoth Han and emperor ones lateley. |

If anyone sees the Rogue Squadron alien pilot 2 pack, let me know. I checked 4 Wal-Marts today with no luck.

Haven't heard they're out yet, scheduled release is March 1st. We're usually getting them after that.

MN is a kriffing dead zone for new stuff. Aside from Clone Wars cartoon figures, the only new things I've seen since the first of the year are the
Voss/Fiea (sp?) and Cone Emperor/Luke comic packs.

Cone Emperor Ahh, yes. The infamous Saturday Night Live version with the Dan Ackroyd head.

Well, I take the dead zone comment back. I found Ben and Spacetrooper at Knollwood yesterday. I had some business in Maple grove this morning at 7:00, but had to leave the house at 6:30 to drop the kids at daycare, so I stopped into MG Walmart and found the rest of the wave. I passed on the Han and Luke stormtroopers, 'cause I didn't see much of an improvmeent over the ones from the comic packs. I do like the build-a-droids though, so I'll probably end up getting them once I see what parts I need. As it is, all of wave 5 was on the birthday list I gave my wife, so I'm handing them all over, unopened, so she can give them back to me in a few weeks.

Seriously? I was in the MG Walmart on Sunday and they had NOTHING. They probably put out everything right after I left.
