So, I know this is a Star Wars board, but I really wanted to show of my Star Trek 2009 movie uniform.
So here is my brother modeling my Star Trek 2009 movie uniform. I am still finishing up the badges, clear coat is drying. The badges will be held on with magnets. I have some work badge magnets that I am glueing to the back of the badge. I am putting a small piece of the shirt fabric behind the opening of the engineering symbol so you don't see the magnetic holder.
The belt and the above the knee detail is made from a backpack strap webbing with a bit of silver in it. It really isn't as sliver as the pics look. Just is more reflective with the cam flash. We decided to go with strapping, we had decided this a month before the movie came out and pics of the actual pants surfaced. So we are sticking with are original design. We have the two folds below the knee.
I made a phaser, tricorder ,communicator and pouch for are stuff from black leather like vinal.
