I am quite possibly the only one that cares that the frisbee golf course is gone. I think the main thing is the lack of sign for the park might make people who have never been there before miss it.

I am thinking I will be In-Town this weekend ... and I should be able to attend this. We just need to finalize the location. And I am NOT opposed to anyplace at this time ... I don't Fr'olf (but I could learn) ... I EAT, I likes volleyball, bocce & yard'y games ... I am also rather inclined to places that might be dog friendly(?)

So I leave it up to you Guys'es

I haven't Fr'olfed since my dealer got busted... KIDDING! I guess I probably never have done it.

Anyhoo... this park is still a pretty central location (even though, aside from Karen, the southern contingent has not chimed in at all). Even if the entrance is not marked well, it is about the only driveway on the west side of Hopkins Crossroad, between Dominick Drive and Bren Road. It should not be difficult to find.

I'll probably be there by 3:30. Should we try to eat between 5 and 6?

We could either have someone volunteer to bring grillables, or we each bring our own + a side, chips or beverage to share. Thoughts?

I have had something come up at 3'ish ... So I could be there for the Grilling & Chillin' part of the day.

I suggest each 'Bring Their Own' plus a Bag o Chips ... just my thoughts, or plan

probably wouldn't hurt if someone planned to bring the equipment and then everyone just brought what they wanted to grill or have grilled for themselves then bring something to share. But I only vote that way cause that's pretty much what I'm going to do if I'm able to make it.

Lone Lake took out their Volleyball courts, or at least if they simply moved them, they moved them to a location I didn't see when I drove through.
I know that if they're not officially dog friendly, they've never cared.

Since it sounds like they still have at least one grill in the park, I will volunteer to bring fire (charcoal), grilling tools and something to share.

it was a good time, it appears they've done a ton of work to the park since I scouted out the location. They put in a giant plastic play area, a basketball court, picnic tables under one of the pavillions...But there were lawn games and good grilling. Thanks Neil for bringing out all the hardware and charcoal.

Thanks everybody who came. It was a fun time. I think next year if we have a picnic there we need to play Frisbee and Bocce ball on the large hill next to the basketball courts. That'll be fun.
