I got it when it came out. I'm about 3/4 through the book. It is a good read. I like the concept for the book. I do get lost in some parts but that could
be me and my overload of school work. other then that I'm really enjoying it. I think it's a good transition from LOTF to TFOJ.

I'm just curious, but has anyone finished reading Millennium Falcon yet? I haven't gotten too much further because of the overload of HW.

Just finished it on Sunday, great book. I liked the fact that it bridged the LOTF and FOTJ series while still being a standalone.

Great little book. Spoiler:
Did anyone notice that Threepio goofed up and called Allana by her real name in a public place on page 242? Did anyone notice that Allana cried out "Grandma!" when she was falling off the landing platform on Tandun three in front of practical strangers? I wonder if that will be the cause of Allana's true identity to be revealed in FOTJ?

*shakes fist* I have two chapters left! I hope to finish it before Sunday! I didn't notice that he called her by her real name, now I'm going to have
go back and and find that. This book is a great transition book between the two series. It's going to be interesting what happens in FOTJ. I'm a little
bummed that they hardly mentioned Jaina. at least say how she is copping with everything.

The beginning was a little rough. It picked up for me after the circus story. Thanks for the compliment Seeker

It did pick up after the circus....but overall I found it to be kinda boring. I just wasn't impressed. The ending was great, but that was only the last
30 pages or so. It truely was a stand alone novel....just a few parts to bridge LOTF & the next series.
Now what to read next?? I've never NOT had a new book to read I'll go back and
do Hard Contact I think...or Jedi Apprentice series!

That is very tragic not to have a book to read.

Have you read the Ender's Game series? If you haven't, you need to.

It's a series by Orson Scott Card. I really recommend them to everyone who likes scifi. It's not Star Wars, but Card really gets into the minds of the
characters and shows their thought processes. I can bring one of them on Sunday if you want.

I second that. The first book - Ender's Game - is the best by far, but the whole series is good.

I actually preferred the Ender's Shadow series, but that's just cause I always liked Bean better.

The Ender books are great. I also preferred the Ender's Shadow series, I think because it was closer to Ender's Game in terms of continuing the plot.
I can't believe this: somehow I completely forgot about Millenium Falcon getting released until just now!! <:-o Hopefully the library will get it to me quickly *crosses fingers tightly* ...well, I guess I could wait for it at least until I finish reading The Force Unleashed ;-) |

Had a lot of downtime visiting family for Thanskgiving, and finally got around to reading MF. It was okay, a nice little filler piece leading into FOTJ. Very
short though.
