Finished the last dark nest book this morning.

Gotta say, Leia as a bad ass Jedi is sort of interesting.

And the Luke fight scenes are always good.

Jania was pretty lame in this series though.

VERY MUCH looking forward to starting the Legacy of the Force series...

I liked most of the Legacy books. Dark nest for me was kinda blah. I was not a big NJO fan...I only liked Conquest from the series!! You should enjoy Legacy!!

So I skipped over the New Republic era books and went to NJO. Ran thru those rather quickly. Looking back, I can hardly believe it. 19 books? jeez, almsot like running a fracking marathon. I'm now into book two of Dark Nest, and excited to get to the Legacy of the Force books! Then I go back to the New Republic era books. Then I suppose I'll have to jump ahead yet again to the Fate of the Jedi books! :]

Revenge of the Sith was so freaking awesome I did it twice.

So freaking awesome.

The movie is total crap compared to the book.

I'm about 1/4 of the way thru the novelization of Revenge of the Sith and am getting the same feeling. There is just soooo much more going on than in the movie.

Yes...this is why I was SO disappointed in the movei...the book was so good and the movie chopped out telling parts!

I'm now about 30 pages into Clone Wars. Yes, I'm behind on my reading. Traviss' writing is such a breath of fresh air after Mindor. I love how she's made three well written chapters out of what was essentially 20 seconds of Holonet news feed at the beginning of the movie.

Agreed. I lost all interest in reading after enduring the pain of Mindor. I haven't picked up a book since the ordeal. I'm hoping FOTJ rejivenates my interest in the EU.
Mindor was brutal

BTW- Dengar: Shatterpoint was killer! My 3rd Favorite book for sure!

Well, I am "Finally Done" with Shadows of Mindor. I think it is supremely ironic that the last word of text in the story is "sucked".

I'm done with Patterns of Force....disappointing I really didn't care much for the entire Coursant Night trilogy. I loved Shadowhunter, really liked the Medstar Duology...and was disappointed in CN. Did anyone else think this was the 'I-5 story'? He started with a mission in Shadowhunter....then got back on track with it in Medstar...then finished it in CN! I-5 rocks...his own series! I was disappointed in his humor in CN...it was not good and sarcastic like in the other...
