It was really fun, a bit sillier than the usual Star Wars, but I really found it to be an enjoyable movie.

OK. Maybe we make the call at the museum tomorrow, whether we costume or not. I guess if it's 3 or 30 it doesn't really matter to me. If anyone is meeting us there, that will not be at the museum first, please call me at 612-709-0973, and we'll all decide what we will do.

Funny you should ask...
I posted on the 501st boards. There are 43 "views" of the thread. There are NO replies. So I can only conclude that most folks just can't afford to be out that late on a work night (like me). I put up a poll earlier asking if anyone would like to attend a showing on Friday night, but had no interest in that either.

Yeah, the caffiene's not really helping so much anymore. I haven't been sleeping so well lately, so I figure I should grab it when I can. And yeah, I WOULD just sleep at work, but I'm up for a raise, so I figure I should probably be on my best behavior.

I'm most likely going to be out of town this weekend, but it all hinges on whether or not a buddy of mine passes his test. If not then we aren't going and I'll head on out there to meet some of you people. However, my costume is not quite finished so I would just be in street clothes.

I spoke with Neil's original contact at Oakdale today. They are excisted about doing somethign with us. I will speak with their promotions person later today to get timing details, etc.

As we did at the Episode III premier, I assume we are all willing to purchase our tickets. That being said, the things I will ask the theater for are 1. a space to change and/or rest and 2. the opportunity to reserve a block of seats so we can sit together during the film.

If anyone has a particular theatre that they would recommend for trooping the premier of Clone Wars, plesae post the name and location and why you think it's a winner. I started to make some contacts after our planning meeting but it was just too soon for anyone to talk about plans. Now that we are getting closer I'll fire up the planning machine again.
