Thanks for hosting this Steve. I didn't realize how bad the floorboards were. The new ones are nice and solid. Next year we can look at adding things onto it, or sound, lights, etc.

Thanks everyone who made it out for this. The float is in the best shape it's ever been, and now we are in a good position to begin putting our resources toward embellishing it.

We also got everything done on our list for CONvergence props. Everyting is in really good shape for July!

Looks like about 8-10 of us right now. If hot dogs or brats and chips are covered, I have some burgers, beans, and all the condiments. I'll make sure we have some soft drinks on hand. The forecast (for what it's worth) is 30% chance of rain and high of 60°. I am so freakin' sick of crappy Saturdays.

Anyway, I'll pick up the building materials before the weekend.

Any others who will be attending?

At our April planning meeting we decided that our float and CONvergence props needed a little sprucing up in preparation for the busy summer season. We will meet at my house on Saturday 5/17 to work on the props and float, followed by a BBQ and bonfire into the evening.
