Greek Star Wars McDonalds Happy Meal...anyone want one?

I finally found a McDonalds to eat at (I live to see what differnet menu items each country has!). Guess what....they are currently having Star Wars Happy Meals with Star Wars toys!!!!! The Happy Meal box is in Greek, the toy if for all of the EU. They have Darth Vader that must talk and R-2 that must shine a beam. They are about 4-5" tall. SW Holiday Special Screening in Minneapolis - 12/16/09

The Bryant Lake Bowl in uptown Minneapolis will be showing the Star Wars Holiday Special on Wednesday, Dec. 16th. Admission is free, but they request that you bring an unwrapped toy as a donation for Toys for Tots. Doors open at 9pm, show starts at 9:30pm. Better get there early, believe it or not, they actually have to turn away people every year.

If you come, you may find a certain X-Wing pilot and a princess helping to collect the toys.

This is for the Make-A-Wish event on Thursday Dec 3.

I need to make an outer robe for the little boy. They would really like a Jedi to make an appearance and trying to make a set of robes for myself would be pushing it.

Does anyone have a set of robes I can borrow for the event? I would really appreciate it. (I wear an XL top and I'm 5'8.) I have pants and a pair of boots that I can make work for this event, so I would be looking for the outer robe, inner robe,...

I was talking to Stacie H. the other day about the beginnings of the Minnesota Force. Despite having been around the club for some time, even she was not sure how far back it goes. So it got me to wondering - how long has the Minnesota Force been around? When was it founded? Who founded it and how did it come to be? Do we have an anniversary date? What was the club like in the early days? How has it changed and how is it the same?

I've noticed a serious decline in postings in recent months on several on-line forums I visit, including this one. It was even the topic of a post here recently. So I was beginning to wonder why there would be such a precipitous drop in postings on this and other boards. At 11:54 pm October 9, 2009 Kyle Erik Pierson earned his Angel Wings.

He is now in Heaven celebrating with all the Angels.

It is bitter sweet that he is gone. Life will never be the same.
