Hi everyone!

Are there any plans to do bell ringing this year?

Jenny mentioned it briefly in an e-mail to my wife and then Jim Mossey told me something about NOT being able to do it this year due to Southdale's new policy regarding wearing masks or something? The MOA had the same policy the year before but was OK with us if we didn't don our headgear until we were in the Rotunda area.

Halloween at Rosedale mall

Hey all, I have a friend who owns a toy store in Rosedale mall called Tomodachi. They are having a halloween party and wondered if anyone could make it over. He is thinking there will be a few thousand kids at the mall that day. I plan on stopping by for a few hours after the Anoka parade. It would be great if anyone would be willing to join me!

We were a big hit at the Big Brothers/Big Sisters West Metro Picnic in August and we have been asked to appear again at an even bigger event. The idea was brought forth that individuals or a couple people pitch in for each meal, providing the food for everybody camping, this will be your contribution, Steve has offered to pay for the campsite. So this thread is to keep all of that organized.

We will be camping Friday night through Sunday morning. Eat on your own on Friday before coming out, but we can have a nice snack that night. Saturday, we will need a breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus maybe a campfire snack....

NEWS. FLASH I got a call tonight from the Anoka parade staff. WE ARE IN BOTH. WE ARE AT THE FRONT OF THE NIGHT PARADE _ ONLY 4 BLOCKS LONG!!!And the night parade is just 50 spots. One hour max. The folks at Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Twin Cites have asked us to appear at an upcoming event that I think will be a perfect fit - the BBBS West Metro Annual Picnic.

The picnic is set and the date is Saturday August 29th 12:00-3:00 PM taking place at Lake Calhoun. There will be many attendees, lots of kids of all ages and they are expecting media coverage and a lot of support through sponsorships and participants, so this would be a great venue for us to troop and be seen....
