Testing Featured Threads. I had a little free-time at work and felt like playing with buttons on the board.

Only members can see members-only threads in the featured threads sections, otherwise non-members just see those threads available to everybody.

I haven't been able to use the "insert smiley" button for a couple weeks now. When I click on it, I just get "error on page" It happens on IE 7 on my work computer and IE 8 on my home computer

But on the main page down in the legend for the messages, the picture for the MBA forum has a bad link message from Photobucket.

Found this out from a friend of mine:

Photobucket.Com has been hacked by a Turkish hacker group called NeTDevilz. This occurred around 5 pm today. I have no idea how much stuff will be lost, or if by chance it will be saved, but the entire site is offline right now.

Soooo some of our banners and emodicons will be down since they were hosted on there. Currently, unknown length of down time.

I really don't like Yuku...NJOE moved to it a few weeks ago...it is not as nice as EZ boards!

I don't have access to any of the members only areas anymore....

Plus the fonts are all wacky.....

The boards have been acting up the past few days. threads won't open and everything is really slow.

Karen said that she can't even get on the boards.

Anyone know what's wrong?

New computer questions

Hi all,

I'm shopping for a new computer and need some advice from those who might be more 'in the know' than I am.

1. Most of what I've seen has Microsoft Vista. How trustworthy is this operating system yet? Will I need to worry about a lot of patches and such since it is still new? If I get something with XP instead will it be obsolete with a two years?

2. If my internet service software wa loaded on my PC from a download rather than from a disk, how do I transfer...

name2host had a hard drive failure and as a result dougie-doright.com is down.

Minnesotaforce.org seems to be fine but my site is down.

Some of our boards images were hosted there in order to spread the bandwidth out a bit so you might notice a few red x's here and there until it's up.

I have been assured it'll be fixed ASAP.
